The Rayco modular fixturing system is designed for use with vision systems, non-contact CMMs, or multi-sensor machines. It creates a fast, repeatable way to fixture your part consistently each and every time you inspect it, which increases productivity and accuracy. The clear advantage

Each vision fixture is made with a precision acrylic base plate that allows for back lighting and a clear, clean look at the part from your vision system. Fixture base plates can be customized to fit and mount to your vision stage. The fixture base plates are alpha-numerically labeled for documenting your part setups. Components are also labeled with a part number for easy identification and documentation.

Ability to hold and inspect your smallest parts

Our components are small and can be arranged within a close circumference to hold and view the smallest of parts without interfering with the edge detection of your machine. This enables you to view the entire part and not covering up any critical features. Clamps can also be used to hold the smallest parts to the center area of the plate where no holes are drilled.

Made to hold virtually anything

The Rayco Fixture, with its multiple holes and various components, has the versatility to hold virtually anything. Steel stampings or machined parts can be held to the fixture with magnets, while various clamping methods are provided for aluminum, plastic, brass, and other non-ferrous materials.

Accuracy you can count on

Parts can be elevated from the surface by use of various components and held in as free of state as possible with minimum amount of clamping or holding force applied to the surface of the part increasing repeatability and reproducibility.

Each vision fixture kit comes with an acrylic base plate that allows for back lighting from your vision system. Any size base plate can be accommodated to suit your vision system stage. The base plates are alphanumerically labeled for documenting your part setups. Vision plates and components are available with either a M4 or 1/4"-20 thread. The 1/4-20 threaded components can also be used on standard Rayco base plates.

Vision Fixtures
Our M4 or 1/4"-20 threaded components mainly used for checking your parts on Vision Systems allow access to detailed features of small parts without obstructing the backlight or probe path.

Increased Accuracy
The acrylic base allows for a clear, clean look at the part, which is elevated from the surface. Because the components allow the part to be set up in a virtually free state, with very little force applied to the surface, repeatability and reproducibility are dramatically improved.

Made Specifically For You
The aluminum frame around the acrylic fixture attaches to fit the stage base of your vision system. Each fixture is custom tailored to fit the specifications and stage size of your particular vision system. Acrylic fixtures come standard without threaded holes in the center area to accommodate very small parts.
